These bee's don't sting!

I had such a productive Sunday.  First of all, yes can you believe I've posted 3 times?  Holy Bonanza!!!  I can't promise that I'll be doing that all the time, but I will try to be more disciplined with my blogging. 

I managed to get my entire craft room organized.  I got all the clutter from my past few workshops put away and organized.  I even hung up two Ikea rods to hold all my punches.  If you haven't seen these, then check them out here.  There PERFECT to display all your punches so they're right there at your fingertips while working.  By doing this I managed to free some space in my drawers for other items I needed to put away.   The best thing about these rods - THEY'RE CHEAP!!!  Each rod was under $2.00.  If you don't have an IKEA near you, I'm guessing you could order online.  Take a minute to check it out, it's totally worth it.

After I cleaned up my room I got the umph to do some stamping.  I used one of the new stamps from the 2009 Spring/Summer Idea Book.  If you haven't checked it out, then make sure to head over to my SU Website to see how AWESOME the newest Idea book really is.  Yes, I'll be saying, "I told you so".

How cute is this little bee??  He's far too cute to sting ya that's for sure.  I just love this stamp set, and plan on using it quite a bit over the next few weeks.

A little fun in the snow!!

This is a super quick post, just quik enough to share the boys building their first snowman this year.   Who said a snowman has to be made from 3 perfectly round snowballs?  Cameron and Alex enjoyed using their "Snowman Kit" this weekend. 

 

Take some time to play in the snow, it really makes you feel like a kid again.  Of course end it with some minty hot chocolate, ahhh yummy!!

Playing Catch Up!!

I just placed an order for lots of goodies from the new catalog, and I'm expecting to receive them on Wednesday.  I'm so excited about the projects I'll be making with some of the new Designer Papers, stamps and ribbons.  Can you believe there are 14 new designer papers in this baby??? WOW!!  Now SU is offering textured papers as well.  I have one pack of the textured "glossy" paper coming too!  So stay tuned for some new projects!!

Some people say "Less is more", I completely agree in this case.  I love the simplicity of this card.  The inside simply says "Happy Valentine's Day".  I used Rose Red and embossed it just for a little zing.

How cute is this bag?  I just love it and could find myself making a boatload of these.  They are the easiest project EVER!!  They make the perfect favors for any occasion.  You can dress it up and make a formal wedding favor, or add some whimsy for a childs birthday favor.  You could even add a masculine flair and it would be perfect any guy..just add a Home Depot or Lowes gift card, yes it's perfect!

VALENTINE PILLOW BOX TREAT:

  

I can't make enough of these little pillow boxes.  I made a bunch at Christmas to give as favors and they were a big hit. So, I of course had to make one for Valentines Day!  I love the felt on these.  It adds such a great texture and softness, perfect for Valentines!
