July's Monthly Card Club / Workshop

I'm trying to figure out why I LOVE my monthly Card Club / Workshops???   Is it because I just love papercrafting so much that I could do it 24/7?   Is it because I love to teach and inspire others?  Or is it because I simply love spending time with all of the gals that come to the clubs monthly?

Well, I'd have to say that it is truly because getting together with my crafty friends is so much fun. I can't believe that my current club will be over in just two months.  I was so happy to learn on Saturday, that my club gals are interested in continuing on with another club to start in October.   If you're interested in joining my monthly card club, please feel free to email me at tj925silver@hotmail.com.  I'd be more than happy to explain how the club works in greater detail.   If you're looking to have a relaxing few hours to yourself once a month, learn some great new creative techniques, complete a minimum of two projects before you even leave for the evening (no, you won't have something partially finished sitting on a shelf for months.) or because you want to slowly scratch off the items on your Stampin' UP! wish list (if you're anything like me, it's as long as my arm), then joining the club is a no brainer!!

Below you'll find pictures of two projects that we made in this past Saturday's workshop.  Also, look further down the post for a sneak peek of what we'll be making at the August 16th Club / Workshop.

Enjoy!!

My gals were so great at learning how to "Mask" two stamps together.  The all got it PERFECT on the first try..Yes, my girls ROCK!!!!!!

Below are the bags that we made. How cute are they?  My head is filled with several ideas for these great little bags.  Here are just a few:  Shower Favors - fill them with candy, a gourment cookie, chocolate covered pretzels, or even a gift card.  They're perfect for teachers gifts, co-workers or let's face it..pretty much perfect for anybody or any occasion.

I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of our July Card Club / Workshop.  I had a great time with all those that could make it to this month. I'm looking forward to the August workshop for so many reason, but most of all..to hang out with my amazing Scrappiegals!!!!

HERE YOU GO.. A SNEAK PEEK TO AUGUST!!

Here is another close up.  Goodness, I feel like I want to quickly grab my checkbook and write a bunch of checks...shhhhh, don't tell David.  :0)

August Checkbook Cover

If you're like me and just LOVE these checkbook covers, please order one now while supplies last.  I have only 40 left, I took it to work and sold 10 before the gals even had their coffee!!   I can make these in the newest Stampin' UP! Designer Papers, or any color combination you request.
